ℹ️ (from comments)
- How does it compare to the Ford GT Mk4?

It explodes out of corners much harder than the MK IV because of the all wheel drive. Once in a straight line, the acceleration is slightly faster than the MKIV with KERS off, and a LOT faster with it on.
Timed from some laps, 135 - 260KPH is 7.5 sec for the MKIV, 7.2 sec for the 499P without KERS, and 6.1 sec for the 499 with KERS

is this the race version or the customer car rich dude can by for shits and giggles?

More Modificata driving impressions:
Well, that's a new high water mark. The @ferrari 499P Modificata is officially the quickest car I've ever driven, by a margin. 2300 lbs (1,043 kg) wet, over 900HP, all wheel drive, 4000lbs (1,814 kg) of downforce... and no ABS. And while it is blisteringly fast, it should be absolutely terrifying to drive for an amateur driver like me. And yet, the overarching driving impression is that it's friendly and fun. It communicates well, it turns sharply yet is stable in high speed corners, and the brakes are easy to get a feel for. I don't know what magic Ferrari has employed to make this overpowered LMH car into a playful track companion, but it worked, spectacularly. The 499PM is not only the fastest car I've ever driven, it's also one of the most comfortable to go fast in.

Bravo, Ferrari. Molto bene!
- In terms of lap times, how much faster is this than say the FXXK?

let me put it this way: they have us driving in the same run group as the F1 cars 😁
- How much faster per lap is this vs actual Le Mans car? A second a lap faster or more like LMP1 times?

the pros estimate that, with same tires and driver, the Modificata is about 10 Seca/lap faster at LeMans because of all the extra power
