Mercedes sales figures, job cuts, the James Cook... blah, blah, blah.

As you're scanning the current crop of stories, I already know what you're thinking - financials are great, but I need to customize my ride, dammit. I can't have Reggie Bush out rollin' in his CLS Shark II, while I'm sittin' in my stock Benz. Help me eMercedesBenz, help me.

If I'm speaking to you - if you're ready to outshine Reggie and any other professional athletes, today is your day. Why? Because I am officially proclaiming that today is FAB DESIGN day. The next three stories... nothing but tuning goodness, courtesy of FAB DESIGN.

I'm going to kick things off with my personal favorite, the FAB DESIGN kit for the always illustrious 2007 Mercedes S550.

As is the case with most tuners, FAB began the transformation by adding a front spoiler, side skirts and a new rear bumper, offering customers a simple yet sporty enhancement to vehicle's already elegant curves.

To further enhance the S's exterior appearance, 20" three-piece forged wheels and stainless steel quad exhausts add an additional spark to further set you apart from your non-tuner brethren.

And finally, to make sure you can escape the crowds that are sure to gather to get a glimpse of your freshly-tuned luxury sedan, a 540 horsepower FAB DESIGN supercharged V8 is offered, capable of accelerating from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 184 mph. Not too shabby.

For more info, you can find the full press release below, and for ordering and/or pricing info, head over to FAB DESIGN's website to learn more.

Coming up... the FAB DESIGN M-Class.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

FAB DESIGN® presents the new Mercedes Benz S-Class with an exicting Aerodynamic Design

Attractive bodywork design in optimal harmony of forms: FAB DESIGN® makes the new Mercedes Benz S-class (W221) even more exciting.
“The face in the crowd” is the motto of the aerodynamic parts by FAB DESIGN® complete bumper for front and back of the car. The bumpers can be easily exchanged from the standard bumpers thanks to the use of the standard fixing points.
The FAB DESIGN® front spoiler energically cuts through the air stream and gives the luxury limousine a new face with its round shape and the large air intakes for cooler and brakes.
The FAB DESIGN® side skirts make the Mercedes look visually longer and lower.
The new FAB DESIGN® rear bumper does not only make the back of the car look more attractiv, but it also has a cut-out in its lower wing for the FAB DESIGN® quadruple-pipes sports exhaust system made out of stainless steel.
The individual look can be furthermore accentuated with the 6 hole spoke design, 3-piece forged FAB DESIGN® type 6 Evoline alloy wheels at the frontaxle 9J x 20 ET 32 with 255/35 ZR 20 and at the rearaxle 10J x 20 ET 36 with 285/30 ZR 20 Dunlop high performance tires.
FAB DESIGN® can offer to customer the FAB DESIGN® FK 5.0 K Supercharged Engine. The 5-liter V8 engine is equipped with a FAB DESIGN® supercharger. At 5500 rpm the engine heaves a whopping 540 hp onto the crankshaft. The FAB DESIGN® supercharger found its rightful place between the cylinder banks. This location provides the sport induction lengths necessary for superfast response times. The FK 5.0 K reaches its torque maximum of 750 Nm at just 4,000 rpm. Thus equipped the S-class accelerates in just 4.9 seconds from 0-100 km/h and is not satisfied until the needle indicates a top speed of 296 km/h.

The rear looks pretty good!!! :usa7uh:

its allright..wouldnt take it over the AMG package though

It's not perfect...It would look pretty decent without that spoiler on rear window.

i say no to the rims, the exhaust pipes and the rear bumper. The rest of the car is ok.

I would...AMG is not special anymore, specially now that even sport packages come with AMG looks...

i agree i think this kit looks better than the AMG. AMG doesn't look "WOW" on the S550 unless in person, this kit looks great on the car. It is really POWERFUL. The look is extremely agressive.... GREAT JOB FAB DESIGN!!! :t-cheers:

Absolutely agree, I hate the rear/window spoiler too, but the front looks amazing, specially the grill cut...

Bit of a dumb question here, but in Australia, it is rare - almost unheard of - to customise an S class. It would kill the resale value of it. Is it different in the US, where customizing an S class adds real value to the car???

Actually it doesnt anything for value, but it is up to each individual.

When I first saw the rear I thought Gees, Batmans father would be happy with this kit. The rear simply has too many exaggerated pieces that doesn`t
match the rest of this kit.

I don`t like this, it makes the car look too after market.

wow, i just noticed that the car has a rear window spoiler. It's very ugly...
