This might sound like a ridiculous topic, but here goes. Many Asians believe in face reading. I have a mate from university who studies it as a hobby. He says people with extremely high hairline and wide foreheads are naturally lucky. I decided to take a look at foreheads of F1's many world champs.

1) The Monstrous Forehead (presumably lucky) Club
Juan Manuel Fangio - the greatest ever

Niki Lauda

Michael Schumacher

Total WDC = 14

2) The Average Forehead Champs
Nelson Piquet

Alain Prost

Others: Mansell?

Total WDC = 8

3) Smallish Forehead Champs
Ayrton Senna

Damon Hill

Mika Hakkinen

Total WDC = 6

4) Which brings me to this year's title:
Alonso - maybe average forehead

Raikkonen - maybe above average

Hamilton - OMG, look at that thing!

Damn, Hamilton has that Schumacher-esque forehead.

Hamilton will soon(hopefully) join the club of the lucky ones.

Perhaps, but on the forehead alone he has this year's title won, against two average forehead drivers, one of whom has been perpetually unlucky.

BTW, it looks like Hamy has indented temples in the second picture. That means something in face reading, but don't know what.

HAHAH did you make up this theory all on your own?

:D

Makes no sense.

Prost an average forehead won 4 WDC (with team mates like Lauda, Senna) and with today's rules would have been 7 times WDC just like Schumacher (83, 84,85,86,88,89,93).

Of course it makes no sense. It's not scientific or anything.

Perhaps Prost was unlucky not to have today's rules during his day. Perhaps that has all to do with his forehead being average. Actually, Prost has quite a wide forward. He's maybe better than average, but not in the forehead monstrosity class.

Face reading says a high and wide forehead signifies natural luck, especially during the ages of 15-30. People who believe in face reading always look at a man's forehead, so I decided to try it on F1 drivers.

never heard about this before...but nice theory! i have high hairline and wide forehead....not sure if i'm lucky tho :o
