Yeah, I agree. It's a really odd-looking thing, and pretty ugly from many angles IMO, at least in the pictures. The lack of rear seats really kills it for me. For a car built in Britain, it seems to be poorly adapted for B-roads there. Seems almost too hardcore for the road and lacks the utility expected of a hatch, yet for serious track work, it's got drive to the wrong end and no proper mechanical LSD. Will be interesting to see how the market reacts; can't imagine that BMW hopes to move very many of these things.
