Jaguar XKR - the cheapest and best outright grand tourer here. It offers exceptional value for money, true long distance ability and comfort coupled with more than enough performance for when it's needed. The big cat is just too good at the price.

For the rest of them, in each case there's another car that I'd rather spend my money on.

The XKR on the other hand is just brilliant at what it is intended to be.

It doesn't have a dual clutch gearbox - it has the familiar sequential manual from the Ferrari-Maserati parts bin.

I couldn't have said it better myself,the AR is just beyond sex and design.

Everyone here knows how much i love the SLR and i'd really have a tough time choosing between both..this is how gorgeous i think the 8C looks.

My choice would be -

1. Aston Martin - Sleek yet sophisticated
2. Maserati - Different, but respected
3. Jaguar - Latest efforts have been on point and the interior is a masterpiece
4. Alfa - Not a fan of the front design, but I'm sure it's a decent car.
