Well, I would definitely like to test drive both, but as they said in the review, the G37s is only an imitation BMW while the 335i is still the real BMW and still delivers.
Nevertheless, one has to notice that Infiniti has gained so much that they are only 3 points away in this review and may outdue the BMW in other reviews. Very nice alternative to say the least.

That's what I've been saying for the longest time. Give some respect to infinity for making a really good car. Yet people keep blabbering on about how "it's no bmw", well no sh!t it's not. It's an alternative to BMW. It's for people who like the 3er but can't afford it.

Absolutely.
I think something else BMW fanatics need to be thankful for- if not the for the likes of Infiniti, I am sure we will still be driving around in a 200 HP I6 car and paying a lot more for it as well.
At the end of the day, the consumer wins when there is fierce competition.

You're not kidding. BMW has always been one to stubbornly covet the true performance potential of their vehicles - specifically when it comes power output. Thanks in part to Infiniti's pressure, the 335i is a screaming fast car with gobs of power output.

It's a damn good alternative to the 335i, however I don't know if I agree with your remark about " It's for people who like the 3er but can't afford it." I personally wouldn't consider a G37 over a 335i, but a business partner of mine plans on getting one later this year, and you can trust he can afford 10 335i's!

I made a general statement. Nissan/Infiniti didn't make the G-series to appeal to buyers who could afford a ferrari. They built it as an alternative to the 3er. So my statement still stands. In normal situations, for a person who can afford the 335 max, might say "F__k it, might as well save a few grand and buy the G". Hope I made some sense...LOL

If you can afford the G37 you can most certainly afford the 335i, no doubt about it. At this level, the price gap is more of a point of consideration than a point of exclusion.
