Found today on eBay Motors, is not only a super clean example of a 1957 Isetta, it also happens to have the rare “Z-mold trim.” The car is in beautiful running condition, with only 18,538 miles on the clock, and better off for having had one owner over the last 30 years.

This Isetta has a raucous 13 horsepower version of BMW’s one-cylinder, 295cc motor, and is lucky enough to be paired with a four-speed gearbox (with reverse, no less). Paint, chrome, and interior all seem to be in excellent repair for a vehicle of this vintage.
At the time of this writing, there are four unspecified offers on the Isetta, and a “Buy It Now” price of $30,000. With that price, the car might represent the highest dollar per horsepower figure we’ve ever seen. Ah, but the heart wants what it wants.
