Easy, Lazy, "Creativity Stifling" AI Prompt Generated Automotive Design

Giving it another try:
296 headlights, 812 rear-end, Roma-esque surfacing. Nearly a decade behind the present Ferrari design idiom.

Quite an - um - illustrative example of generative AI only being able to regurgitate and amalgamate images from the public domain.
And while this is an obvious statement, it does usefully highlight generative AI's inability to be creative in the realm of originality. Same goes for AI-generated music.

I am not actually attempting to promote a non-critical AI agenda per se. And I am very well aware of the reservations regarding the technology. And especially the frequent aversity towards it by gifted, studied and trained craftspersons. Artists, designers, illustrators, musicians and so forth. I really get that. As for me, I'm simply attempting to visualize certain automobiles as I would like to see them. A selfish endeavor, of course. And I can conveniently look at them whenever I visit these forums. And I "park" them in a clearly designated forum that can be visited or ignored. I really don't mind, one way or the other.

I think it's great that you do. I like and am supportive of it - especially in this dedicated thread.

I also get that you're not promoting AI but rather using it to generate ideas and stimulate discussion. Again all fine with me and hence the feedback in my reply to the Ferrari posts.
