Eni, is this accurate information?

I find it hard to believe it's a facelift. It's propably just a refreshment like the one 5er got last fall. So a few new features, engine upgrades + new interior trims & exterior colors I believe.

I receive new information from my nearest BMW dealer today. As of September 2007 3-series sedan and touring will get these changes:

- New engines with the same fuel savings “trick” as in 1-seies and 5-series LCI
- Small facelift with new bumpers and LED rear lights

Is this information accurate?

Eni or Scott had said a while ago that 3-series facelift will be at 2008 Geneva auto show. Have things changed?

I wonder if BMW is giving the facelifted 3er a sportbutton ala new MB C-class or if they wait for the next generation.

I wonder if BMW is giving the facelifted 3er a sportbutton ala new MB C-class or if they wait for the next generation.

I was told quite a while ago E90 platform is not designed to feature active suspension systems (eg EDC, ARS etc). So no EDC button is likely - like in M6 / M6, X5.

Even the facelifted 5er didn't get EDC system despite M5 has it, and E60 platform is able to feature it.

Perhaps facelifted 3er will get a Sport button ala Z4: to enhance steering & throtle response + perhaps less involving DSC setting.

I'm eager to see which will be the first model with DPC system: X6 or facelifted 3er perhaps?

Regarding 3er facelift: a while ago I was told Spring 2008. Yet perhaps BMW want to implement new HPI engines more quickly & speed up the facelift process - to offer it in Fall 2007 already. :t-hands:

I'll try to find out more in the next day (most probably early next week).

The sales person who gave me this information isn’t the most reliable source, but this time he clamed that his source is straight from the BMW importer in Norway.

EnI, any new information about timing of E90/91 facelift?

Yes. E90/1 3er is getting new HPI I4 & I6 engines in the Fall ... with BER & automatic Stop&Start functions.

Not sure if there be any exterior styling changes though ... :t-hands:
