if you look closely he has flared out the wheel arches (some sort of a custom widebody kit) to accomodate the big wheels.

Usually I'm all for owners doing whatever the hell they want to do, but this is insane. Forget looking bad its just a hazard plain and simple. What if the car were to go over a pothole and even half-fast speeds. The springs and suspension would be at serious risk causing the car+driver+others on the road serious injury.
