Videos Drive: Which Country Is Most Important To Racing ?

But what about heritage, and the foundations of motosport?
I can't help but think of France!
When I say France, I also include Monaco. Le Mans and Monaco together with glamour and money is what attracted the rich playboys to motorsport back in the day(I think).

Either way, that is a tough question! I can't make my mind up.

This is a really difficult one.

Germany is important for development and manufacturing.
France and Italy have had a tremendous influence in writing motorsport history.
The UK off course has played its big role too.

Its a very difficult question that is borderline impossible to answer.

For me, it's the British. Think of Lola, Lotus, Cosworth, Illmor, Adrian Newey, etc, etc...

Also, I found the video very poor... when they mentioned France, completely forgot about Peugeot and Citröen rally history (now and then) and also Renault F1 succes as both, engine and team. And Mario Andretti is italian ;)
