I know the Phaeton has some enthusiastic fans here. I was just wondering if any of you know whether VW sells the armored version of the Phaeton to civilian customers?

The armored version has been used by the German chancellor, European dignitaries and even the pope. I haven't seen marketed to civilians like the Mercedes Guard, BMW High Security or Audi Security. Maserati has delivered armored Quattroportes to Italian politicians as well, but I haven't seen the car marketed either.

Yes find info here :usa7uh:

Thanks, phaeton.

I don't see VW actively marketing these cars to customers like the other builders of factory-armoured cars. Then again, discretion is a good thing.
