Sunny, we go way back and you're personally one of my favourite members on this board.
Unfortunately, in this case, we have different views on what constitutes trolling or not. There are snide and personally derogatory comments being posted and these haven't emanated from a moderator.
Broadly speaking and directing this not only at you but some of the things being said in this and other threads have been downright rude.

I probably am the other source of the disappointment, and I would like to apologize too for what it is worth.

It might be an idea though to carefully look what happened, where it went wrong and what the cause was.....and ultimately who to ban.

FWIW, I'm not sure I'd even regard you as a BMW fanboy any more. Your posts, IMHO, are far more circumspect than they used to be, and on the whole, you criticise BMW almost as much as you universally praise them. The forum is a much better place for it.

Do whatever you want with my opinion. Just thought I'd voice it.

Thanks Martin, and it is mutual. I have tremendous respect for you and you have earned it with your conduct both as moderator and participant. I know I been rude and I apologize for it, but it didn't happen in a vacuum. I will lay it out and you can judge for yourself -

When you have an unhealthy hatred for one brand and openly admits you can't wait for that company to fail, I don't think you are fit to be a mod. You can't spew hatred and ridicule in one thread against one brand and then turn around and chastise someone else for it in another for another brand. The exact contour of the offense might be different, but it is doing the same thing - trying to dampen someone else's enjoyment of the forum.

Again, I am not asking for him to be removed, like I said time and again, I am glad he is doing it. But he should try and moderate his own posts first to be an effective moderator. Despite you making it look easy, being a good moderator is a hard task. I know cause I failed at it. And there is a learning curve and hopefully he learns from this and we can all move on.

Again, I sincerely apologize for my earlier rudeness.
