911 (997) Details from upcoming 997 tt?

The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (996). Successor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2004–2013.
thanks for that pic..i can see that you like your porsches
and that gallardo interior is hot...well so is the outside. you are one lucky dude

Latest word on the streets. The 997TT will have an ipod package as an option which offers and ipod an a dock in the trunk. What this does is give you the ability to control the ipod using the buttons on the steering wheel. Not only that, but you will also be able to watch the movies saved on your ipod. The will cost 600 euro and includes an ipod.

The other news is that the 997 Turbo S will be availible from start and offer 520hp(?). Hopefully this info will be confirmed in the next days.

I hate to say it, but my GT3 pulls away from my Gallardo as it is. Porsche is for go, Lamborghini is for show...

Also learned yesterday that 800 997 GT3 RS will be built, but don't know when. 997 GT3 production starts right after the summer vacation. And the new Cayenne will be a big re-style, not just a freshening.

LOL...Cool...Welcome to the forum man, post some more pics of your cars!! :usa7uh: :eusa_clap

Here's my GT3 at Sebring. The Penske Porsche LMP2 RS Spyder was there testing. Since then I've added a GT3 RS cf wing.

I was the one who told my dealer about the upcoming AMG 63 about one and a half to two years ago. There was a rumor in Auto Motor und Sport. I got tired of waiting and ordered an 2006 E55 last June. The car came in August, right before the Frankfurt show when they showed the ML63. So I did not take the E, and am first on the list for the CLS 63 at the dealer. The thing is my wife (who would be driving it) doesn't like the CLS much and prefers the E, but I like the CLS better, esp. in black :usa7uh:

This is the kind of "options" that I hate :t-banghea ...who cares to watch movies in a 480hp that is supposed to be the best performance car :t-hands: .

My opinion is that Porshe should spend the money on more horse power and make the Ipod stuff options you can pay for ...if you give a s..t

I went to the dealer today and he told me they think the body on the new turbo IS the wide body 997 (the one on the 4s) anybody know about this?...
He also told me the car would be in the $120,000.range which I find cheap :eusa_thin .

Anyway I didn't withdraw my deposit ...which I went there to do. I guess I'll go ahead with the evo motersports supercharger on the c4s and see what happens when the car gets here :t-drive:

Come on man 480hp is enough concidering that it will make the car go from 0-100km/h in just under 4 seconds. Remember that there also has to be room for the Turbo S and GT2. Those cars will offer more power for you horse power hungry guys.

If the Turbo S has the same body of the 4s...(wider body) and is available at the same time...I WILL BUY ONE AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT! :eusa_danc :t-cheers: :usa7uh:

Of course the Turbo will be the widebody version just as it has been in the 996 and 993 and probably other models before that.

Well the 997TT will most likely be as wide if not wider than the 4s. I have a feeling this car is going to be a monster and take world like a storm just like the 993TT did. When that car came out it killed all other sports cars on the road. It left Ferrari and Lamborghini owner feeling sad about their cars. The speculations are in high gear and I have read figure slike 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds!!! This car is definetly going to raise the bar to high level. I can't wait for a Top gear review. :eusa_pray

You know how Z06 owners brag about how there cars cars can beat Porsche 997 TT's......not any more!!! ;) :D

Oh shit, I have forgotten all about the Z06 :eusa_doh: but still it can't compete against he charm of a Porsche :D
