Aparently it is possible to convert a 64 220SE to a well proportioned convertible.


Heres one I prepared earlier...

Fully integrated 500SEL powerplant & transmission and W108 dashboard, pillars moved back to extended door length by 6 inches and significant chassis strengthening.

Wonderful to drive, 100% Mercedes and totally unique, with fully functioning rear windows and hood.

Theres a Becker radio there now instead of the blank plate.

Hi Confinable. I'm recently aquired a S220 1964 with a objective to convert into a convertible. I was looking for somebody that already have did something like this before, but never find...Here in Brazil we did not have knowlegde to build a project like that.
