CLK-Class (C209) CLK63 AMG Black Series!

The Mercedes-Benz C209 is the second generation CLK-Class, launched in 2002. The car was available in both hardtop coupé (C209) and in soft-top convertible (A209). Although its design and styling was derived from the E-Class, the mechanical underpinnings were based on the smaller C-Class. It was succeeded by the E-Class C207. Production: 2001–2009.

In your opinion. The CLK63 isn't a disapointment.

On the track it is. Being beaten by a 335i (with runflats), despite its power/torque advantage and P Zero (Rosas I belive) tyres.

Hell even a Mazda 6 beated on Auto Express test, not to mention that before Sport Auto and Auto Express tests people here were even talking about an M6 killer.

at the end of the day..bmw is gay..haha:D sorry just had to do it

yeah feeling alot better..haha how abt u? did it hurt..haha

anyways.. the time of the CLK63 is dissappointing..and thats the truth..
i hope this black series does better.. i dont see the point of blasting a car that hasent been released yet..
anyways rock on..

lol dont act like a 14 year old gurl..

You've just said that "thing about you" in my above post, so...

Anyway, seems like AMG is serious in building "driver's cars", and i like that. Pitty though, you have to pay with "gold" to get a driver's car from AMG...

This way or another, i'm fine with that. I'm looking forward to all Black Series models.:usa7uh:

:t-cheers:

Is this one test or a series of test? What were the actual numbers? I really don't see why this is a big deal. The new 335i bascially matches the performance of the outgoing M3 a car that would no doubt beat the old CLK55 around a track too.

Does this same disappointment apply to the BMW M6 because a SL55 got around a track faster?

that happen one time only, I seen at least three other laptimes were M6 is faster than SL55. So far we havent seen the CLK63 being faster than 335i :)

come on now, you love mercedes, you should now better to not underestimate mercedes, especially not the SL. SL is one of the best handling cars from Mercedes thanks to its very low center of gravity. The Sl has a lot of potential.
