To remain a China-only model
Several production units of the Citroën DS 5LS have been caught on camera in China near the factory where the cars are built.

The latest premium offering from Citroën's DS lineup is the 5LS based on the DS5 hatchback and is likely to remain a China-exclusive model. A bunch of production cars were spotted in a parking lot near the Shenzhen plant where the cars are made alongside the DS5 hatchback by the Changan-PSA joint venture.

Set to go on sale on March 28, the Citroën DS 5LS is going to be available with either a THP 160 or a THP 200 engine connected exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is 4702mm long, 1840mm wide and 1515mm tall, with a 2715mm wheelbase and an overall stylish appearance which is more than likely to appeal to the Chinese crowd.

Inside the cabin it gets a wide array of premium touches such as an air purifier, massaging front seats, various wood and metallic accents, as well as semi-aniline leather upholstery, upgraded sound system, keyless access, rear-seat entertainment system and reclining rear seats.

Horrible! By far the ugliest DS, and the interior is nothing special, looks like a posher C-Elysee/Peugeot 301 interior
