I know most on this forum have little interest in the C6, but I didn't want the demise of a car so wonderfully unique to go unnoticed. I love this car for many reasons, one of which is its styling: how its so utterly compelling and elegant, so un-brash in a segment dominated by M-Sport 5 Series' and S-Line A6s, instead, merely hinting at the sense of well-being and comfort one will experience at the wheel. This singular focus on luxury and comfort ( double-glazing, Hydropneumatic suspension, a complete absence of sport modes and packages ) is what makes this car unique, and also why its my favourite ever French car.

Production ends on the 19th of December.

I am with you on this one. C6 has been something very unique on the market, there was nothing like it. Unloved by customers, sold in little numbers definetely will be missed by me. Few can rival its sheeer comfort, its probably the most comfortable car south of the S-class. Good bye :bigtears: .

Looking at this car, reminds me of only one thing: When the automotive industry used to be a romantic little world. When the petrolheads were driving Alfa Romeos, you couldn't buy a FIAT longer than 3.5m, Audi didn't really exist and BMW was trying to stand up with the New Class. In those times, MB was always the king, the american cars were a very rare sight in european roads, and the french made many unorthodox cars. I think the C6 is the last unorthodox car to come from France...

Another sad guy here
The C6 will always be in my dream car list. I still remember the first time I saw it IRL, couldn't believe how different it looked to anything on the road.

I'm sad Citröen didn't gave it a nice interior upgrade when they introduced the DS4 and DS5 which have very stylish and plush interiors.... my hope remains the DS9 reaches production

Best regards.

Never seen anything like this. It is unique.

After reading your words guys... I'm trying to like this car but it doesn't quite work for me...

Thanks, Monteverdi!

I don't like the exterior design and the materials used in the interior.
I'm sure it drives like a boat but I prefer cars to drive like cars and to be actually able to drive them and not sail in them :)
PS: A little firm drive is always more comfortable than totally soft (boat-like drive) IMO :)
