No I don't think it is actually.
Things will become problematic for you when BMW unveils the M2 coupe/gran coupe.
You see, people never stopped praising the steering in M cars. M cars don't have electric steering.
And I cannot wait to see the facelifted M5 Competition against the E63 AMG S
And I cannot wait for the F80 M3 either

With M1 I mean an M version of the current 1er hatchback. And that, will not happen (sadly).

So I just watched the video now. I have no idea wtf the MB boys are gloating about. AMG was hardly any faster around the track and Harris clearly says M135i is more fun. The AMG is clearly a very competent package, but hardly the kind of domination you would expect considering one is full on AMG product and other just a warmed over version. Things wouldn't be anywhere this close if it was C63 vs M335i...

If we are going to talk about modifications, M135i is available with AWD so it should improve the laptime even more.
Anyway, M135i isnt a trackcar and doesnt come with super harsh suspension like A45. M135i is a more of everyday car with focus of being an allrounder. Arguing about laptimes real AMG vs fake M is laughable. M135i doesnt even come with M diff. LOL.

Is it really? sounds more like a personal opinion since both EVO and Autozeitung declared M135i as the winner. Which one is the best obvious depend on who you ask
My personal conclusion after reading the reviews is that A45 is the best sportscar and 135i the best allrounder. In the end it comes down to what you are looking for in a car.

Except it wasn't cup tires. It was Michelin Super Sports (he says that too). As good as the super sports tires are they not R compound tires like Cup tires.

Do you have a bigger pic? It should clearly say what tires were on the car.

My bad not cupe but Super sports, which he claims are alot faster than the ones on the A.

Luckily for the A45 , this M135i didnt have AWD
but hey A45 have a harsh suspension so its only fair that M135i compensate it with good set of tyres M5/M6 use the same tyres as well but still it have happen that E63 been quicker. Go figure.
