The 718’s engine is lame.
From first-hand experience on multiple occasions - I agree completely. Moreover, on a non-GT 718, auto rev-match is invoked in sport and sport chrono modes and cannot be disabled unless you switch out PSM entirely.
Begs the question then - what's the point of a manual? Same criticism leveled at the M2 Comp but at least it's got a creamy six and a proper LSD - so that would be my choice. GT 350 R is an intriguing left-fielder with its high-revving flat-plane V8. Has anyone here driven one? I'd be very interested to drive one but sadly they don't come in RHD like the rest of the range.

I was never a fan of the american muscle car. A smallish coupe with a brilliant I6 and an LSD is the definition of a blast for me. Therefore M2 CS it is.

Same with me I am not normally a big fan of American cars, but in this case I would take the Corvette Z06. It is by far the best looking car here and its got a lovely burbly 470hp V8 with loads of grip from its chassis and fantastic brakes.

It's surprising that the Cayman S and M2 competition are neck and neck through the quarter. With 405hp, I thought the M2 would be trapping at a higher speed.

I chose the Camero ZL1. I like the Ford GT350 but don`t like how the early models suffered from cooling issues.

My mind says Cayman/Boxter S or M2 C. Sadly the rest of the body wants the Evora 400 and the GT350.

If I'm buying one of these for a long time. I'll probably take the GT350. It's a car I can actually wrench on! While the Germans are nice, they require WAY too much upkeep that requires special tools and crap.
