Doesn't really come as a suprise to me. CEO's are reasonable men who have their focus on business. Just like in Stockholm where they had a survey that showed how executives preferred Volvo wagons, women preferred expensive & flashy cars and gay people liked SUV's.

Toyota: Sheer reliability and Inconspicuousness = Peace of mind and tranquillity of pottering about without showing off, which is handy because it means you will be almost "kidnap proof".

Sounds like a realistic bunch of brands. I tell you if Toyota ever lost that quality/reliability slant they'd go out of business faster than a cat can groom himself. There is no other reason to buy one in this group.

If so, then what's weird about that?
I thought folks got over sniggering about the Japanese competing in the upper luxury market (about a week after the first Lexus was released)?
