I have no idea from which Top Gear eiposde this is from but apparently the CGT is slower than the SLR

According to carmags, SLR slightly faster to 100km/h and CGT slightly faster to 200km/h but SLr faster to 300km/h. CGT faster around a track of course

I downloaded that video a few days ago and accelerationwise the SLR seem to be the faster car, aleast in lower speeds. Concerning the track comparison, the lap was a bit too short to give a fair picture of what the cars a capable of.

short? was hardly any advanced bends in this clip, check out Nordschleife or Hockenheim then we talking bends.

Exactly. The bends on the top gear track aren't sharp enough to put pressure on the SLR's suspension. More over the track was dead short, it only took the cars 45 seconds to rush through it.
