Nothing like a good old women bashing thread :D

I'm off for 5 days now my friends... very busy with work and finishing off my pHd thesis... I will be back in no time but and I expect a definite answer on which car to purchase when I return...

wow goodluck with your pHd thesis, and your work. :t-cheers:

I go with the Convert - have you considered an Audi A5 or S5... I would imagine she would love that even more !!!!

I noticed also that those are priced off the Australia BMW site yes - were are you from if your from Australia... I'm from Ashgrove

Hardly... We say like this in Croatia: The Boss is the one that doesn't need to sit to take a piss...;)

:t-cheers:

Ha! Who told you a woman has to sit in order to piss? Think, when we are in public....

YOU BOYS crack me up with all those jokes I just read. My tummy hurts from such a good chuckle.

BMW Owner, if your woman is the type that does not care if the wind messes up her hair, get her the convertible (hardtop, is possible).

Here's why. Even though I voted for the X5, (it's the look, not really the sense of security factor for me, notice how it's very petite women that go for huge trucks), you made a strong point when you said that you plan on having no children at least in the near future. A woman can always cherish her moments now when she is young and able to (i.e. her age looks good in a convertible. Her marital status w/ no kids is great for a convertible). But this can't be the other way around when she is pregnant, or has an infant seat. Picture: She's nine months, and she's stepping out of a convertible. It looks like she's riding the freedom wave till it fades.

Personally coupes are always a surefire thing, but hardtop convertibles are the best. And if the weather permits for a more pleasurable drive with the top down more times out of the year than say, New York, then go for the convertible.

There is nothing more sexier in the world than to present a woman with keys to a brand new ride as a gift. Screw Diamonds, it isn't for everybody and not all of us care for jewellry (trust!). She'll thank you a million times in one!

^^Wow...that's a nice explanation there.

Hey Mr. Ausie Doc Man, I'd listen to Jade. She's giving you the female perspective that most of us petrol heads lack.

Shes no driving enthusists... shes does enjoying wasting my money on shopping and dining with all her girlfriends but... so im really thinking the convertible from the image point but the X5 could work from her needing all that room to carry every bloody thing she buys....... actually with a small boot she can get less.. hmmmmm maybe I would be saving myself money with the convert

Had to quote this one...Sorry, shopping bags with the logos from chic designer boutiques look fabulous in the back seat of a convertible--

Thanks for your input... very meaningful

I have decided to go with the 335i convertible. I've just finished work now and am going to the dealership this afternoon... Not sure on colours and options etc But I will try and work it out - any must haves that you guys know of???

I can tell you she just got an diamond ring out of me so she isnt getting anymore diamonds for quite some time...

Thank you all very much... I will get back to you with the details if I have an opporuntity tonite... I think i'm to tired to finish my thesis so I should be back to report

Ok thought id come update during the break in the cricket... whos watching :D

I went to the dealer.. Walk in and thier is a black 335i convert... I'm sold its absolutely amazing... it's stunning.... It had a black interior but i didnt like that very boring... I'm not sure on the interior... im thinking either saddle brown or red for her because she won't want a boring interior... What are your thoughts????

I optioned it out and all up its about $137,980 - So its way to expensive to buy out right so i will be leasing it for about 2200 a month with no deposit (ATM)

It looks great and I think she will love it - So tempted to buy the interlagos blue M5 they had in the dealership - I want it I want it :D:D
