I convinced my friend (who has a C63) to try tracking his car this year, and he has become hooked. I went with him earlier this summer to Mosport and he had a blast. He went himself again later this summer with his C63.
2 days ago, we went together again. My 135i's brake pads were toast from track days, so I took the "old" C55 to Mosport again. I last tracked in the C55 exactly one year ago. In fact, I very much looked forward to this day, as I wanted to see how the C55 would fare against the C63 on this relatively high speed track.
It was epic......(and so much fun)!
The day started off poorly, with an old Ferrari crashing and leaving us with nothing to do for most of the morning until the car was towed away and the guardrail was fixed.
After lunch, the track finally opened again, and we maximized our track time. The weather improved too, as the track finally dried up after the on and off morning rain. The temperature was relatively cold, hovering around 10-14 celsius.
What fun we had.......it was HARD work trying to keep with my friend in his C63......any lift of the throttle or mistake on my part and I'm left in the dust. The power of the C63 is amazing, as he just killed me on the long back straight........the only chance I had was trying to make up some time in the corners. I was able to set my fastest ever laptime on this track, about 2 seconds faster than my previous best time set earlier this year in the 135i, and about 3 seconds faster than my previous best in the C55 1 year ago.
Both of us were on street tires (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 for me, and Pirelli PZero for him). Both are stock suspension......the C63 has the full Performance Pack with LSD, and both of us have aftermarket airboxes as our only modifications.
Here are 2 videos:
My quickest recorded lap (ever for me) at Mosport.....(chasing the C63):

A longer clip of me trying to keep up (barely) with the C63, before a slower Porsche 944 racecar got in the way:
