Corolla Bugatti Veyron vs. Toyota Corolla

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars (formerly subcompact) manufactured and marketed globally by Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla was the best-selling car worldwide by 1974 and has been one of the best-selling cars in the world since then. In 1997, the Corolla became the best-selling nameplate in the world, surpassing the Volkswagen Beetle. Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.

What I don't understand is why the Corolla doesn't move up...Almost like she wanted to get hit.

Unintended-non-acceleration?? Either way it's tomfoolery to reverse a Veyron out on a busy intersection like that. The minor damage the Bug sustained probably cost more to repair than to replace the Corolla.

Driver in the ecobox was probably star-struck :D

Looked like there were a couple of things going wrong at the same time. Driver did not take the slope in account, the manager did not alert him or her regarding the ecobox and finally, the ecobox, for some reason, stopped behind the Bugron.

Though day...

Wow... all the excellent engineering work done to create the Veyron someone forgot to add reverse sensors/camera, especially considering the poor visibility through the rear-window.

Being a former Corolla owner, I'm going to side with the Corolla driver and place full blame on the doofus in the Veyron! :D

I thought it was a drag race, I'm disappointed :D.

He also scraped the sidewalk -- twice!

Poor Corolla... :(

Oh that Corolla had a chance to get out of the way! She sat right there like a dummy instead of moving up. Yes, the Veyron driver should have looked, but the Corolla could have easily avoided that hit. She was probably sitting there dreaming about a Milk Shake.

Gotta admit the Toyota driver was just beiung down right stupid. She had a massive gap in which to move along with the traffic yet she didnt take it.

Would love to see how the insurance companies fight this out and I'm probably guessing the Veyron will win. With so many witnesses and even video evidence :)

:eusa_clap Exactly! The dummy had a chance to move up and didn't take it. The Veyron driver probably thought she had moved up already (of course he should have checked first). I bet that fool (Corolla Driver) wanted to get hit.

Sad but true, loads of frauds these days go out looking for car crashes just to claim for compensation or for damange thats already on the car to get repaired.

If you aren't "thinking" when you are driving a Veyron, then you are an idiot. I wouldn't assume anything.

Yea there was a gap that the Corolla could have moved forward, but the Veyron driver should have checked.

Plus that doesn't excuse the fact he scrapped the front end... twice.

Everyone is blaming the Corolla driver, but what about the salesman? He was behind the Veyron and the driver was just probably following him?

BTW, Corolla driver was probably busy texting on her cell :D.
