Bugatti Veyron 16.4 ‘Pur Sang’ sells out in 24 hours

It didn’t take long for all five ‘Pur Sang’ versions of the Bugatti Veyron to sell out. Just 24 hours after the car was first revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the ultra-exclusive run of just five cars was completely accounted for. The going rate was €1.4 million a piece but somehow we suspect that was of no concern to the buyers.
The Pur Sang is easily recognized by its unpainted carbon and aluminum body, which not only looks great, it also sheds up to 100kg from the standard Veyron’s kerb weight. Considering its success, there are reports claiming Bugatti is starting a new individualization program for the 1001hp supercar, which means we’re likely to see even more Veyron specials in the near future. Click here to read all the details about the Pur Sang and view our gallery.

100kg just for the car bodypaint !!!! That is heavier than a F1 car engine.

What an horrible bad-taste bling-bling piece of crap...

What did the poor Veyron to be treated like that? Turned into that ridiculous thing...
I'm speechless, yes...

Furthermore the carbon bonnet is very very bad integrated, looks aftermarket...

If it is 100kg lighter, can't be only the paintwork.

When I first saw it, it thought they just wanted to show how it is build. Then I saw they wanted to sell it like that, and I vomit all-over my keyboard.

Re: Bugatti and Hermès to create special edition Veyron

Sick. Seeing one of those on the road is just mind boggling. I can't imagine it here in the U.S.

Ah, the Bugatti Veyron. It's astonishingly powerful, sexy as hell, and only 300 will ever be made. Among the 300 Veyrons, the five rarest and most coveted models carry the Pur Sang moniker. It's stunning paint-free aluminum and carbon fiber body are bold enough to make even the wealthiest Dubai oil baron blush. There were likely many filthy rich people who missed out on the chance to bag a Pur Sang, as all five models were snapped up inside 24 hours. If you lost out the first time and had to settle for a Reventon or four Ferraris, we have good news. One Pur Sang is back on the market, but it's going to cost one of the world's wealthy almost twice as much as it did less than six months ago.

Italian dealer Rag Gianfranco Favero is selling its precious Pur Sang on the finecars website for the low price of only 3.2M Euro. The 1001-hp, 253-mph supercar has only 48 miles on the odometer, which, quite frankly, makes us scratch our heads. It's unimaginable that anyone could hold onto a Veyron for six months and drive it only 48 miles. Like it would be worth any less money if it had 800 miles on it.
