I´ve seen reportage on Nova TV 2-3 days ago about this guy and I was stunned with this car and determination behind this project.Guy name is Mate Rimac and,as far I know,he doesn´t have any school degree in electric/mechanic science whatsoever..As the matter of fact,he´s studying Economics at University of Zagreb and he´s three exams away from his degree ..Obviously,he has great know-how about eletric motors/batteries to make this car go as it goes..Can´t wait for his 900 HP E30 project to finish .

Thx for reply,mate..I´m also quite a fan of E30 line..stock or modded .
I´m not quite sure about quarter mile time unfortunately,but I´m guessing its not far from 12 sec flat..As I have heard,currently car has 600 HP electric motor and about 500 HP at the wheels..Plan is to go to 900 HP so time should be much quicker then..
I´ll be watching this guy and his progress and I will update this thread as soon I collect any relevant info about this stunning car/project.
