F1 Brundle: F1 Insight - Driving Style. Which style are you?

I guess I'm a hybrid then. My style is a mix of Alonso's and Schumacher/Raikkonen's technique. For me it depends on the corner, position, weather and other such factors. But I would say I'm 80% Shumacher/Raikkonen style and 20% Alonso style. Thanks for the clip...I can't take this F1 drought right now...can't wait until it's back!

Jenson: thats not me..its to good and to controlled and by the book
Kimi: its to risky and takes to much skill and i dont think i have that
Alonso: thats me ugly and effective..haha

A wet track requires a different line and technique so of course it would differ:usa7uh:

After discutions on more "experienced" F1 forums with some telemetry clips several conclusions aroused:

Brundle is at least partialy wrong:

- Kimi's style is diferent that Schumi (something to do with throttle on corners)
- Alonso isn't (that) ugly, and it could very well be that his driving was severely influenced by the balance of the Renaults = rear-heavy cars.

So nice F1 thread, but very old news, and kind of inacurate.

Brundle doesn't have access to telemetry but at least he's pretty close.

That was an interesting watch. I am still working on my karting style, I think at the moment I am using more an Alonso style, but as I progress, Style will change.

Well like the others said, brundle doesn't have telemetry info and also if you really want to get into specifics none of the drivers drive the same. Not even one! But what brundle was trying to get across was the overall difference in driving styles. You can't argue against that.

No offense to both of you, but take it through PM, ok?

I will delete those posts.

Thanks in advance!:usa7uh:

You're da man, Charles, you're da man!:usa7uh:

Ahhh, the Foster's... BURP! :D I was telling you about Foster's... Is this one that good as well or even better?

:t-cheers:

This one is way better, Fosters is just what we RooLanders sell to the overseas suckers:)

Well ok, since you mention, here's the one i'm drinking right now after nice lunch:

So, :t-cheers: Charles.

PS: We're way OT, let's cut it here and enjoy our beers.:usa7uh:

Nope! You?

:t-cheers:

Sure am:) Like I was saying before, I use the more Alonso style of alot of understeer. I am sure my style will change when I put my new tires on to a more smoother way.
