Well, the little alarm inside the car when the door is open is still working :D

It seems that the car automatically shuts off the engine or did the person shut it off? I would assume that Audi has a system just like BMW in which gas, in a severe crash, stops going from the gas tanks to the engine? Meaning, I think there is a cut in the fuel line?

What a monster. What was this guy doing? The S8 is a Quattro, what did he do? Dry on top of a patch of ice while cornering at top speed?

Is this a civilian model or an Audi test bed model?

It looks like he took the S8 on a track, but it seems to be his own car. The guy taking the video is bordering on being hysterical, IMO. ;)

"thats my ride"

was....was :t-rot:

lol bad luck for the guy, the S8 is my dream car its absolutelky amazing inside and out. Good to see him taking it with good humour, or thats how he appears on the outside. Maybe hes still in shock? Bet he will be kicking himself when he gets home though.

The S8 will probably have full insurance so i bet he will get a new one.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
