The engine has a Mercedes V12 sticker on it. Are you sure it's in Aston?
He says it is 5.2 l v12 Twin turbo. Mercedes doesn't make V12 in that displacement . Aston Martin does.
Of course it could be destroked or modified Mercedes V12 (that would be even more interesting to see).
Where is a Mercedes V12 sticker (time stamp)?

The custom car business is booming I see. I don’t know what to say yet.

Higher torque, horse power and top speed than the Vanquish. Nice!

They should show it to Divo owners. Some might buy it just because the tail light LEDs share similarities.

It looks good, especially from the side, but kinda gives kit car vibes. Like, it's a mix of everything. Kudos to them for turning Maybach 6 into a reality though.

Most people think this car is a Mercedes. Was that the main idea?

As has been said, Brabus has been inextricably linked to Mercedes for decades, so it makes sense for this to be homage to Mercedes in some fashion, which it clearly is... but I think it undermines that somewhat for it to be based on an Aston Martin... we don't know what factors went into that decision though... so, it is what it is...

... a Temu Maybach 6.

Probably because there's no current S class coupe to base it on, and the closest thing is the thing is an AM.

The proportions of the Maybach 6 which Brabus clearly wanted to emulate could easily (more successfully) have been moulded over the outgoing AMG GT - this car has been in development for 10+ years apparently. It would be unfortunate if Mercedes had denied Brabus the rights to sell cars built on their chassis given the history of the two companies.. but like I said, we don't know what went into the decision, Aston Martin would likely fall over themselves to sell a few more units.
