Z Series BMW Z4M on Top Gear

The BMW Z models are a line of roadsters manufactured by German automaker BMW. The Z stands for Zukunft (German for future), and has been produced in four different series with six generations consisting of roadster, coupé, sports car, and concept variants. The introduction of the M Coupé and M Roadster in the Z3 line marked the first of the Z series to have a high-performance BMW M variant. The first generation Z4 also continued to offer M Coupé and M Roadster variants. The current Z4 (G29) uses BMW's (B58B30) inline-six, its platform is the basis for the current Toyota Supra.
The Z4M trully is a beast and Hammond loved it, picked over the Boxster. Great laptime as well, faster than M5 and Cayman S.

BMW has created another great M :usa7uh:

What I thought was great is the fact that he admits that this car is totally different from the M5 and how it's more back to basics. Pretty quick around the track too, very proud of ///M.

That's M strategy: to offer different M cars with different personalities. New M3 will be a perfect balance between the rawness of Z4 M & hi-tech-tour-de-force.

Seeing as how Hammond compared the Z4M and the BoxsterS, I would take the Porsche.

Awsome, now bring on the Z4 M Coupe.

Z4 M defeating the Cayman S/Boxter S on Top Gear and the SLK 55 AMG on Hockenheim.

Now does anyone have Nring time ?!

Intersting the Z4 M /coupe seem to be more raw than their Porsche and MB counterparts (and the BMW M bigger brothers), witch seem more refined and comfy and for everyday use.
