The Bimmer no doubt. Inside and out, the X5 M has this super quality about it, that makes it look and feel completely premium. The interior comparison pic says it all. Mercedes has got to get rid of that sea of black plastic in the GLE/ GLS/ CLS/ E- Class models; It makes their cabins look and feel spartan compared to the warm and soft interiors of those respective models BMW counterparts.

The GLE might have a new badge, yet under the skin, even with some of the refreshed changes, the styling is getting long in the tooth.

IMO, MB should have waited for the next gen to adopt the new nomenclature.

You have every right to express your views on both and choose some other car as to be honest they both not beauty queens, I would pick a Cayenne Turbo S ahead of these two!

The Merc has the more characterful engine, no doubt. But the BMW is better everywhere else.

I think the X5 M looks only second to the Range Rover, on some days I would even rate them equal. Just stunning looking, mean and aggressive (and quite the opposite of the sheer elegance of the RR). And with mad power to boot, including mad performance for a SUV.
Yup, after a slow start I am really liking the new X5 a lot, and the X5 M takes it to another level.

I do like the X5 M a lot after I saw it at the Qatar motor show and actually preferred its styling to the X6 M. The standard X5 is starting to grow on me as well but I honestly like the previous model styling better. The GLE 63 AMG S in my opinion has a slightly better looking front end and it's wheelarches are better filled by its wheels whereas the X5 M tyres look small with too much gap in the wheelarches. The BMW has the better looking rear styling and it's interior totally overwhelms the dated looking Mercedes interior. Although I do like the AMG steering wheel better than the M steering wheel.

Yeah the BMW needs 22" rims like the Benz, but I believe the maximum size right now is 21".

It's all about the price How much does Mercedes cost? I read on Top Gear that expected price is around £90,000. So I'd rather buy Touareg and C-class for example .
I know that there is always a guy who would choose third variant between two, please let me be him this time
By the way, I really like GLC Coupe in yellow color, that Mercedes presented. May be it is not typical Mercedes but looks greate. Please feel free to say if there is something wrong with me.
