Featured BMW Vision Alpina

Thread article featured on the GERMAN CAR FORUM main page.
...just based on a U.S.-American colloquialism for something extremely attractive: "...looks like a million bucks". Hanging out with many U.S. Americans + a few stays during several stages of my life had me learning this stuff. Even lived there for a few years as a young lad.
Well, the truth is that what should be presented is something that aspires to be "more than a normal BMW," something on the order of matching or surpassing a Bentley or Aston Martin, so we can expect nothing less than something very special; the bar is set very high.

I love how none of those MB fanatics say something when people troll the Bimmer threads but get easily butthurt when someone says something slightly off about their beloved brand. Hypocrisy at its finest.
If this car were a Mercedes Vision Maybach instead of a BMW Vision Alpina, Leylandi would be spamming the forum with messages right now. He’s trying to devalue even a car whose official launch hasn’t happened yet, simply because it’s a BMW, and claims it’s overhyped.

Mercedes has some bolder innovations this year, but I can't say I'm exaggerating as much as you are. I guess that's because you're not used to seeing different cars.

GT Black Series, CLE Mythos, GT 4door, GT SUV?
Yet you claim the debut model of Alpine’s new era—a niche brand—is overrated. I haven't seen a single BMW fan call their models overhyped, but here you are, dismissing a car that hasn't even been officially launched yet.

I think it's being exaggerated because it's an 8 Series-based coupe concept that won't go into mass production. Also, considering the blandness of BMW's new interior design philosophy, my negative view is strengthened. Why does this bother you? I guess writing glowing reviews is a necessity.

Isn't the full-width screen with its huge bezels, used by many Chinese brands today, a great solution in your opinion?

If it were the other way around, if BMW used the full-width screen concept, you would criticize this design approach.

We know very well that you hate every BMW, and apart from a few Mercedes fanboys, nobody cares about your opinions.

I think this place is closed to criticism. I understand you...

It's also strange that you're trying to use Chinese companies as a benchmark in design.

Which BMW did you like? For 15 years, you've been saying about every BMW, "I didn't like it, it's bad, Mercedes will crush this one, Mercedes will overpower this one." Yet, it was Mercedes that ended up being crushed and overpowered.

The perception of reliability collapsed, sales figures dropped. But still, according to you, every BMW is terrible. The S-Class, full of trim noises, is fantastic, isn't it?
