articles are saying Airbus has employed BMW to design the new A350 interior to compete with the Boeing 787... expect to see all these lines flying everywhere in the A350...

doesn't Daimler Chrysler own a large share of Airbus?

DC own 30% of EADS, which has 80% stake in Airbus.
That makes DC a 24% owner of Airbus.

Cool, they can also rear end another jet trying to set their course while taxing

lol yea, they will be half an hour on the runway working out which menu does what before take off haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

On a serious note I am into aviation and find this extremely interesting.

The A350 is essentially another A330-340 aicraft with minor changes. This is going to be interesting and I wonder why BMW, or even a car manufacturer. I know that they have to thin out the interior of the aircraft and have to make it thinner but still retain the insulation that the 330-340 have.

I highly doubt that we are going to see any bmw seats in this aircraft, that of course would be ridiculous. Nevertheless I think that the ergonimics of the cabin will be BMW, but no one will be able to tell. You have to remember that BMW has worked with aircraft engines in the past and also has a good design team when it comes to designing buildlings for the company.

I doubt it, you can either programme it or use voice command :D

DesignWorksUSA* is involved in Airbus design.

Airbus is listed as one of DWUSA client on their web site, along other aviation companies: Boeing Business Jets, Piper Aircrafts, Pilatus Jets Interior, Singapur Airlines, Executive Aircraft, ...

*DesignWorksUSA is a part of BMW Group.

lol! but then menus are not intuitive! a command controller would be far superior! as some reviewer said somewhere its like comparing windows 3.1 to Mac OS 10 ha wow had to say that!!

Yes, you can choose between 3507HP, or just 3400!
