M8 BMW M8 Coupé & Convertible (F91 & F92) VIDEOS

The BMW M8 is the high-performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. Introduced in June 2019, the M8 was initially produced in the 2-door convertible (F91 model code) and 2-door coupe (F92 model code) body styles. A 4-door sedan (F93 model code, marketed as 'Gran Coupe') body style was added to the lineup in October 2019. The M8 is powered by the BMW S63 twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with the BMW M5 (F90). Official website: BMW M
And IMHO, one of the most beautiful BMW production cars of all time.

Yep. This I still think by myself each morning, when I open the garage! :D
My original plan was to get a successor (most likely a M4 again) 2023 - so when the G82 LCI arrives.
But the bar with my F82 LCI Competition with individual paint lies quite high ... we will see.

M8 gran coupe vs m5 competition vs amg gt36
I don't know if any of the cars is modded!!

Should have been faster

Agree. On the other hand: Gebhardt did a 7:37 with the M4 GTS on Semis! I had expected 7:29 ... but didn't the track look a bit damp (or is it the low quality of the vid?)?
Anyhow - it is the expected level. There must be some room for the M8 CS, which will do - my guess - a 7:26 on Michelin Cup2

I checked the time with the stop watch and it shows more like 7:38. I wrote that in the comment section and they delete my comment and they ban me. Weird.

You can't blame them for that, they did the test and that's their time

??? So you watched the youtube video with your stop watch? And then you think your timing is more accurate? Are you kidding me? :)

Even if its just speed up after editing video then why they ban and delete commets about it? Must be something.

What tires were used? If it's the OEM Pirelli's then this time is expected.

Are you saying you timed the lap independently while watching the video?
1. I applaud your determination..lol.
2. You do realise they often edit these videos for our viewing pleasure so what you see will likely be inaccurate.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh: Maybe they deleted your comment, because it simply makes no sense?
The overall laptime is nearly 453 sec.
You talking about 5 sec., which you falsely identified as a "cheat" or whatever. So you talk about an error in replay speed/time of 1%! The replay speed being just 1% off is technically fully expected/explainable.
I don't know how I would personally react, when someone accused me of cheating out of thin air? Maybe I would also delete such a statement?

99% of you tube comments make no sense just like 99% of your posts and no one delete these. So your argument make no sense paradoxically.
It must be something that they want to hide.

Viewed at 720 I timed it to within .5 seconds. At 1080, with videos running in other tabs and refreshing various other browser tabs it dropped about 80 frames but was still within a second. In both cases the buffer was about 120 seconds and there was no visible skipping or pausing.

They probably deleted your comment because it's a baseless accusation of foulplay.

If I would wrote that they are paid by USA they wouldn't delete the comment and that's a baseless accusation for sure but if I wrote about the lap time they ban me. Hmmm looks like the true I wrote there was very uncomfortable.
I don't care what fanboys will say, I know what I know.
End of topic.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
