BMW M4 vs C63S vs RS5 Drag race

That's my problem with AWD they quick off the line but slower in rolling starts / In gear acceleration is usually slower than the RWD. Same thing with the TT-RS vs M2.

Hope to see a W212 E63S vs W213 E63S 4matic+ and F10 M5 CP vs F90 M5 rolling start to see if that's the case.

Correct me if I don't see good, but is Audi driver alone while BMW and Mercedes drivers have passangers from the rolling acceleration ?

Nobody gives a shit about rolling starts. In real life almost all races are made from stand still and AWD always wins. And if the surface is not perfect or the skill of a driver is not so good - AWD will humiliate RWD.

Nevertheless I like RWD more. But I have not tried E63's clever AWD yet. It can change my mind.

^You can encounter both someone on the red traffic light and on the highway. From rolling start you actually know which car is faster.

Totally disagree with you, in real world driving rolling starts are king. What are the chances of a C63s and RS5 showing up at a red light at the same time for a drag race? very unlikely unless you are at a drag strip. The most likely real world driving situation between these two would be a rolling start on the highway. If the surface isn't perfect why would you be racing anyway.

Standing starts mean absolutely fokol, the RS5 is a quick car the C63S is the faster car.

It seems you know nothing about racing in the city or highway)

Most of my unplanned races started from a traffic light. All of my rolling starts were on highways and made by prior agreement. Rolling start is much harder to make. Because you should roll on the same speed for some time, start from the horn sound of one car, have enough space ahead of you and choose the correct gear for not waiting for a kickdown like a guy in a video. It's much more comlicated.

It's hard to catch a good car to race against on a highway if you live somewhere outside Germany with no limits and fast cars all over the road.

There is always dust, sand, water on the road. That's why in most cases RWD cars that claim sub 5 secs to 100 km/h make 5-5,5 secs in the city if they are lucky.

In real life, a little of the owners are using their cars for streetraces. Races on open roads are for juvenile adults.

Ka-boom!

Really impressed with the E63S ....usually RWD cars are faster than AWD cars in a rolling run ,but that was not the case. Modern AWD cars seem to have remedied Drivetrain losses.

The F90 M5 will be faster than the F10 M5 in every measurable way.

Quite amazing how much faster this C63 S is than the RS5 at higher speeds nearly 2 sec faster to 200kmh is totally unexpected. ABSC managed 13,6sec to 200 with their RS5 test car.

^Well there's two more cylinders in the C63S engine, however let's be honest RS5 is very impressive for a 2.9 liter engine ;)
