BMW Individual

But Giannis how does that relate to someone somewhere choosing to put some cheesy stuff in his BMW affecting the global perception of the brand ?

It's not about what someone somewhere did to his or her car. It's about BMW choosing to make part of their official marketing the fact that they (BMW) find it unshameful to be proud about 'Mister Spoils'.

Geniune question, who's mister spoils, in the press release from the last page they only talked about giving the guy wifi and storage. I tried to type the name on google but nothing relevant came out.

gold Rolexes
The Dutch are a bit strange, jealous and envious who don't like people who are successful. And they like even less the ones who show their success. Typical Dutch. That's one of the reasons that Mercedes-Benz drivers and german car drivers in general look suspect in the eyes of the general public. By the way, what's wrong with a golden Rolex?

That mindset is very close to the one in Sweden. You simply do not speak of money. Old money would never be seen in a flashy car (unless it's a vintage one, because that is somehow accepted).

In going with the topic, these (more, well, "exotic") Individual modifications will be so rare that 99.9% of people will never see one in real life.

Very much the British attitude also. There's a feeling of "unfairness" if somebody does better than everybody else. Rather than try to get to their level, they want to bring that person back down to everybody else's level. Completely the opposite to the American attitude, where being successful is something to be proud of, and other people want to work hard to get where they are.

How about this one @klier? It's in steel ;)

For those of us on here, you might be familiar with my sentiment towards matte/frozen paint. For those who are not familiar, I am very much opposed to it. Most recently, I have cast my displeasure regarding the Frozen Red paint job that premiered on the new M5...it looks like something a patient with a Klebsiella infection would cough up. I would say Google Image it, but if you gross out easily, I'd avoid it and trust me on this.

HOWEVER... *pause for needless dramatic effect*

I think a matte finish of Macao/Macau Blue might look pretty darn good.

Frozen grey is one of the few matte factory paint jobs I like. For all the flavors of frozen colours, there's no need as cars can easily be wrapped.
