Those good old classics. They had something the new don't have: simplicity. And M3 CSL is still my top favorite BMW ever.

Indeed, and less bloat. That's my biggest beef with new BMW's. The old ones are so crisp and LEAN, the leanest you'll find really, even leaner than classic Merc's I think (or at least as lean), and that's a feat. The new ones are so chunky in comparison.
