BMW cars during 2007 Canadian GP

Here are pictures of the BMW promo stand during the Canadian GP 2007.


They only had 2 promo cars which I found to be very strange... :t-hands:

They cars above were displayed on a big parking lot. The remaining space was reserved for any BMW owners to park their cars during the weekend.

What's that Lamborghini looking Bimmer in the first post?

The black E30 sitting on BBS looks really tasteful. The E30 is the best looking 3er generation so far.

You mean the M1...... btw, it was build by Lamborghini somehow....

If my memory serves me right, I think M1 was only designed by Lamborgini but build by BMW. BMW contracted Lamborghini to design and build a mid-engine sports car, but soon after Lamborghini designed it, it went out of business and BMW had to build it by itself. Faintly remember reading in some mag that BMW had to break into the closed Lamborghini shop and take the designs/prototype.

I was a bit off - Giugiaro designed the car and Lamborghini was supposed to assemble it, but after 7 prototypes they went out of business.
