These are just fictional. We don’t even know for sure if there will be a 4-Series coupe.

There will be at least until 2029, and this is just a render of a potential facelift. The car has years to go after all.

You mean the next 4er. And that is indeed not known right now.

Oh okay. I didn’t know there was a potential second facelift for the 4er.

BMW M2 xDrive will be reveal at midnight (French time)

Well guys, seems like no Alpina Coupe for us. Just the 7er and X7 versions, with more luxurious interior and slightly different front end.

Sad…

Possibly. But I was talking to someone in the political side of the industry about the Alpina and they showed me the media renders which we have seen, especially Uygar’s Alpina White render of the Cabrio. They said it looks perfect and a logical route to take to have an 8er but branded as stand alone Alpina model. If they turn up with at Villa d’Este in 2027 with another Alpina variant? Then we know they being serious.

I'm really curious to see just how extensively the ALPINA G72 will differentiate itself from the "standard" G70 7er sedan. Will the bodies-in white be identical ?

BMW AG in the process of landing major combination punches with the NKL vehicles.

Though I wonder what will actually be next after the iX4....

i1? i4? iX1? Tourings, coupes, cabrios

All the bigger cars are CLAR, and we're seen nothing after the iX4. Only that weird coupe concept thingy that is supposedly discontinued already.

I image that these will indeed be the presentations following the ix4. 2 door coupe/cabriolet configurations ? Not overly confident that these will actually come to fruition. Would be nice to be wrong though.

I understand that we'll have to be patient. 2029/30 appears to be the target period for the beginning of a genuinely new dawn pertaining to an influx of ground up totally revamped BMW upper/executive-to-luxury segment non-SUV vehicles. 5 series and upwards, of course including ALPINA as well.

A want a facking 4er. I have reached that point in life when I can both afford a BMW coupe and my life situation allows for it. And now they might have none to offer me!

Man these times just suck.

I can barely think of an MB that ages well besides the S-Class. Just compare how a W204 Coupe has aged vs an E92 3er.

No MB for me, thx!
The W204 Coupe was never really a loved design as the E92 from when it launched.
I would argue that the W205 has aged pretty well against the F82.

But honestly, I'm just joking around.

I think there will be a 4/M4 but will tick all drivetrain options and maybe bypass Electric?
I think the dilemma the Neue-Klasse has is that the styling is conventional and traditional BMW. A 2dr i3 would not work. I reckon next years IAA will show how Neue-Klasse can adapt into a swoopy coupe and be a teaser for the 4/M4/i4.
