The quality is on par with the Lexus LC. Well above other German cars - especially in the back seats. Headliner and pillar trims are exquisite.

Perhaps all the more reason to embrace stoicism. Sure, hyper-fervent, unrelenting fanboyism can be annoying. But one can attempt to perceive it as: "That's THEIR issue and NOT MINE.". And as long as these types of "fanboys" refrain from getting personal and malicious..why care ? The moderators will do their jobs and others can simply walk on by. My 2 Euro cents, at least.

As for my avatar, thats one of my favourite MB's and picture and if you must know I've drive ln several AMG's with that engine, I've got nothing but admiration for that car. "One important aspect behind the Neue Klasse mindset is having strong different characters [for each model line], so you can expect something entirely different in other models based on the same [platform].
"Do you just replicate what you have in the IX3 and replicate them to other cars? The answer is no. Let's make them more emotional and create different characters."
Asked if this meant the team had been able to work from a clean sheet for the new 1 Series, Heilmer said "not in that sense", but added "you always have to be open".
Instead, a "pretty important" differentiator between the model lines will be their respective kidney grilles, silhouettes, and surface treatments, said Heilmer. "BMW always stood for that differentiation. So this is the openness we want to keep in order really to enhance each specific character. And this is so exciting to me."

For now, we know the EV will be RWD, but the most interesting thing is that it mentions the possibility of a return to the three-door.Is it gonna be RWD rear motor or ICE RWD somewhere in future?
