At this point I blame the people that give @leylandi any attention, when he is clearly rage baiting and trolling. I promise you if you ignored him , he will go away. He gets a kick out of getting you guys worked out and you are constantly falling for it and it's so annoying! I blame you for reacting and replying to him , because you are feeding the troll. Come on guys.

As difficult as it can sometimes seem to be...embrace stoicism. Quite healthy (as well as liberating) when one gets the knack of it.

You might not remember, but it was not that long ago when we had to suffer @hovabongZA tiresome posts against everything MB (he still keeps that stupid avatar as proof).

So hard to take these complaints seriously.

Perhaps all the more reason to embrace stoicism. Sure, hyper-fervent, unrelenting fanboyism can be annoying. But one can attempt to perceive it as: "That's THEIR issue and NOT MINE.". And as long as these types of "fanboys" refrain from getting personal and malicious..why care ? The moderators will do their jobs and others can simply walk on by. My 2 Euro cents, at least.

Nonsense, you are quite dishonest if you think I ever came close to Leylandi's constants vitriol.if that is was case I would have been banned from the forum, not even a soft ban. As for my avatar, thats one of my favourite MB's and picture and if you must know I've drive ln several AMG's with that engine, I've got nothing but admiration for that car. You are one of those members I ignore on the forum, so no surprises at your post. You might not like me , but your post was very unnecessary and I don't expect a back and forth with you.

Yeah, yeah… Poor you, mate. I am so dishonest.

BMW's compact-car design boss Oliver Heilmer

"The Neue Klasse form language doesn't set boundaries," explained Heilmer. "It doesn't mean just that curvature on a polyline; it's more a mindset rather than a design cookbook.

"One important aspect behind the Neue Klasse mindset is having strong different characters [for each model line], so you can expect something entirely different in other models based on the same [platform].

"Do you just replicate what you have in the IX3 and replicate them to other cars? The answer is no. Let's make them more emotional and create different characters."

Asked if this meant the team had been able to work from a clean sheet for the new 1 Series, Heilmer said "not in that sense", but added "you always have to be open".

Instead, a "pretty important" differentiator between the model lines will be their respective kidney grilles, silhouettes, and surface treatments, said Heilmer. "BMW always stood for that differentiation. So this is the openness we want to keep in order really to enhance each specific character. And this is so exciting to me."

Is it gonna be RWD rear motor or ICE RWD somewhere in future?🫣
