Very good looking cars. Looks like the NKL design language will be a huge success for BMW. I do think this will be regarded as a high point in the future. To think there are still more models coming up is crazy. In a very volatile car environment they've solidified their place for the next 10-15 years. No doubt will win most reviews and sales in their respective segments as we've come to expect from BMW.

This makes me wonder if the upcoming 5er, i5 and M5 facelift will end up as a fusion between the i3 and iX3 facially. Judging from the latest spy shot of the retooled L.C.I. version, the kidney grille protrudes/stands out a bit from the headlights like the latest iX3, but in a horizontal form, unlike the iX3 where it has a vertical shape. While the shapes and inner graphics of the headlights are likely to be in the same vein as the recent i3.

I am very optimistic with the lci 5er and it could become the best looking bmw once it's revealed

I really hope that this mid-term L.C.I. for the whole G6X 5er and G9X M5 families will be the stylish and tasteful upgrades both externally and internally. Because this forthcoming L.C.I. could be a major turn of events for the current eighth generation if BMW play the cards right. Specifically, the entire front fascia section needs a whole facial reconstruction for the second half towards the end of its lifespan.

A clear example of model differentiation, in the case of the i3/iX3, is a counterpoint to Mercedes' approach of using the exact same front end on the GLC and C-Class EQs.

This is also one of the strategic pillars of the brand's success and its significant sales advantage over its competitors.
