Silver stripes and 4 round exhaust pipes, and it looks perfect.Something like this would be a banger. First Alpina model was going to be the B7 with the LCI, right?

Hopefully they will tune the S58 in alpine models. The engine is Euro 7 compliant and should be around for the next 5-8 years. However, tying might affect their fleet CO2 averageAlpina used to do much more interesting things than just offering nicer spec interiors. Displacement increases, turbo-charging, super charging, offering the performance in body styles and models that BMW did not. I know we're getting a blinged up 7-er and X7 for starters, but I really hope there's something with a little more 'identity' in the pipeline.

That is usually what happens when these kinds of outfits are brought in house.Perhaps inevitable, since the B58 and S58 are already everywhere, but I'd rather Alpina wasn't just M in different clothes.

Not that it'd necessarily be a bad outcome if they do things well.
But I guess they'll test the waters first before going gung ho. Id imagine longer term they'd want to give Alpina the AMG treatment and let them produce their own unique models.
Alpina has always been about the Connoisseur’s choice. A realm of exclusivity in high performance but worlds apart from the M Division.I don't know what to expect from Alpina. The "logical" thing would be an emulation of what Maybach does, but being BMW, I also expect much more.
The idea of adding a bespoke model as a launch vehicle should be the way forward to generate the necessary buzz. Even Maybach had its bespoke model in the 2000s, the 62, Audi launched its Orch and it went completely unnoticed.

Great news. I love Polestar designs. The person charge of ALPINA's design department is the same person that designed the concepts leading to the Polestar 5 and the "put on hold" Polestar 6. The person who was instrumental in clearly distinguishing the exterior designs of Volvo and Polestar. This may be an important clue as to where ALPINA will be heading.

?? Without any context or explanation?
what is this??
what is this??
It’s been 9 years ?! Damn. Time literally flies. Out of context, I remember seeing the first prototypes of the M3 with the big grille and people were speculating all kinds of things. Now I checked and that was literally 7.5 years ago. Feels like yesterday. So what if it's "old as dirt" nowadays...

So beautiful and it remains...fresh. Even after 9 some years.
