BMW Dealers Are Asking For A Bigger SUV, And They Might Get It
A new SUV positioned above the X7 would be a true competitor for the Cadillac Escalade, and it's a strong possibility.

“We did get a chance to see some of the new ALPINA product that is coming, and I’ll say that I think people will be really impressed with it. It’s a little further out, but it’s beautiful. The X9, I think we’d do extremely well with.”

I told you that I think X7 and GLS are too cramped.

It will be interesting to see such vehicle. The X7 is already ginormous. I wonder how it might end up looking like.

I hope it's only for sale in the US or China. Cause I do not need to see even larger urban tanks rolling around my narrow streets.

Maybe not BMW. But a Rolls-Royce is a better fit.

I don't think so. Because the X9 would probably be 20-25% more expensive than the X7. On the other hand, the Rolls Royce would be much more expensive and produced in very small numbers, leading to lower production figures. While the X9 would sell for around €125,000-€130,000, a Rolls Royce SUV positioned above the Cullinan would cost €500,000 and above, thus selling less. Especially in the US, Middle East, and Chinese markets, X9 sales could easily reach 20-25,000 units.
