I hope the real ones will look different in the end, because what you did loses a lot compared to the originals. On the current X7.

I don't know, they don't look as magnificent and unique as the originals. I think the real ones, once installed, should look better. We'll see. If BMW teases every detail until the Alpina is unveiled, it will be painful. Although I expect a reveal this year in the form of a concept, this it's the year of possession.Like what?
Think again, that's not going to change.Sigh. Just when we thought you were done with troll shit.
Are they revealing an Alpina exclusive model or something based on a current BMW product?I don't know, they don't look as magnificent and unique as the originals. 2026 is also the brand's 110th anniversary, an ideal number to celebrate. I also think an M concept will arrive at some "concorsos" as a celebration and continuation of the Skytop/Speedtop.
Think again, that's not going to change.
I'm simply expressing my wish, based on what the brand has written and revealed, that the 7 Series will be the first model we see. I don't rule out a bespoke version later on, but I don't think the current climate is right for that. Today, it's more about generating revenue and playing it safe. Are they revealing an Alpina exclusive model or something based on a current BMW product?

I say "revealed" this year because the 7 Series will have little time to capitalize on its potential after the FL.
Are you sure about that? Then it would be a long 10-year life cycle, not seen since the E24 6 Series. If it's as you say, it should have a second FL around 2029.G70/G72/G73 will remain in production until October 2032.
Because everything was surely already in place for the sale, and they were already discussing the transfer of the company to BMW, so it wouldn't have made sense. The deal was closed in 2022, the year the 7 was launched, and they probably agreed to start from scratch and commit to a more radical change under the new Alpina brand, which I believe is what we'll see soon. (I don't think BMW will do the same thing the previous owners did...)I wonder why they skipped the Alpina 7er for the current model, yet they’re doing it for the LCI.
I wonder why they skipped the B8 coupe and convertible as well.I wonder why they skipped the Alpina 7er for the current model, yet they’re doing it for the LCI.
Business case: GCs are selling much moreI wonder why they skipped the B8 coupe and convertible as well.
Still, I think the GC is in comparison boring.Business case: GCs are selling much more
That will depend a lot on what they do.Long live BMW-Alpina.
And Bovenseipen.Alpina is dead.
Long live BMW-Alpina.
The Alpina i7 didn’t fit the ethos of the new direction of the G70, Electrification and hybrid were not on their radar. At the time they were very vocal on the subject.Because everything was surely already in place for the sale, and they were already discussing the transfer of the company to BMW, so it wouldn't have made sense. I'm talking more about the ICE 7 seriesThe Alpina i7 didn’t fit the ethos of the new direction of the G70, Electrification and hybrid were not on their radar. At the time they were very vocal on the subject.
