Oddly interesting. Wonder about a bit more ground clearance and rugged wheels/tires. The rear door swinging wide is not great for dense urban parking though. Clubman doors or lift gate?“Rugged” SAV’s not just for BMW. But MINI too.

Precisely. But these only used to illustrate the hypothetical.Dog shit AI
Problem is A.I seems stuck in 2018.I know the chances of this sort of vehicle ever again being realized by BMW could not be closer to "ZILCH".
But man...how I would love to see a modern series production version of a larger "personal" 2+2 coupe in the spirit of the 6ers or CS models. With some "Neue Klasse" elements, for example:

any information ??
Don't you have your very own AI thread for this junk??
There is a huuuge void between BMW and RR. Alpina should fill that.
That's because AI still believes that a BMW should look like a BMW, and not another FWD-inspired Chinese car.Problem is A.I seems stuck in 2018.
I can't wait to se what BMW will do to the Alpina brand. Hopefully they will preserve the legacy of Bovenciepen.
I Agree. I look forward to see what Max Missoni will do to the design. With former Polestar design chief Max Missoni now assuming the supervision of design for future executive/luxury segment BMW (and ALPINA) vehicles, I suspect that we can anticipate a very clean, minimalistic, dynamically proportioned design agenda. I think that these will be mighty exciting, eye appealing products. The task of design lies in very competent hands with a proven, highly acclaimed track record.
I'm so glad BMW didn't went for the early trademarked "BMW Alpina" font (attached).

I hope he has as much success as Domagoj Dukec, a sales success for the brand in practically everything he did, consistently positioning it as the world's number one manufacturer of premium cars for the last 5 years.I Agree. I look forward to see what Max Missoni will do to the design.
