I guess the bimmernuts from Belgrade are going to party.
Not that a failed product as the XM could serve as the precedent role to this.

I guess from a technical perspective, the XM must be seen internally as a relevant milestone.
 
A new model or FL every two months or less; if you add all the ones coming from Mercedes plus those from Audi, 2026 will be a year with a full schedule.
 
Not forgetting that there will still be some exciting concepts to be presented in 2026, perhaps several from the three brands, such as the one that BMW will almost certainly present at some concours d'elegance, following the successful path of those presented in succession the last two years; the next one, they say, could be a kind of M sport car, we'll have to see.

Strategically the i3 is the most important launch of 2026 for BMW. The i3 like its previous namesake will be the biggest test for the Neue-Klasse globally.
The market is highly competitive and i3 has to live up to the benchmark level of competitiveness and competency the 3er has been for generations.

Yes, the NA0 i3 will be soon confronting the M-B C-Class EQ and somewhat later the Audi "Radical Next" A5-sized electric sedan. It will be an interesting competition.

Not sure how a GLC sedan is going to compete in terms of design with the i3. Let alone Audi, the most decadent German brand.

Yep. How the C-Class EQ sedan visually measures up to the NA0 i3 is a big question. So far, simply judging the foiled prototypes, I have a hunch that the BMW will take the honors in this context. As for the Audi...well, it will allegedly be the first 4 door representative of this new "Radical Next" design paradigm. Should be interesting...and I'm a bit more optimistic about the Audi being able to impress. We'll see.

I think the mb c class ev will offer a better interior along with air suspension and rear wheel steering. Those are attractive options for buyers.
