Strategically the i3 is the most important launch of 2026 for BMW. The i3 like its previous namesake will be the biggest test for the Neue-Klasse globally. Not forgetting that there will still be some exciting concepts to be presented in 2026, perhaps several from the three brands, such as the one that BMW will almost certainly present at some concours d'elegance, following the successful path of those presented in succession the last two years; the next one, they say, could be a kind of M sport car, we'll have to see.

How the C-Class EQ sedan visually measures up to the NA0 i3 is a big question. So far, simply judging the foiled prototypes, I have a hunch that the BMW will take the honors in this context. As for the Audi...well, it will allegedly be the first 4 door representative of this new "Radical Next" design paradigm. Should be interesting...and I'm a bit more optimistic about the Audi being able to impress. We'll see.
A traditional sport sedan silhouette of the G50 will always be a winner.2026 will be
