7 Series (E65) BMW 7 Series (7er E65/E66) pictures thread


The BMW E65 is the fourth generation 7 Series, produced from 2001 to 2008. The model range consisted of standard length and long wheelbase ("Li" models) sedans. Model codes: E65 (short-wheelbase), E66 (long-wheelbase), E67 (high-security), and E68 (Hydrogen 7). Production: July 2001–2008. Model years: 2002–2008.

Hmph, I wouldn't be so smug Artist, I don't see how any of Roberto's posts disprove anything. Fact is, BMW were the first to implement the clamshell bootlid in a production car in modern times. Looks to me like BMW set the trend there and Mercedes followed on.

Martin.. dont get upset.. i meant to say that evey pic he posts makes the S look better in my eyes.. and disproves his initiall point.. that the 7er looks better...
Cause he posts like the best pics.. with amg package and all.. man i can find less good looking pics than that.. even though i love the S..
i think he loves it.. he cant just admit it.. haha:D j/k

Glad to see this thread took a nice following. I have to say, at this point in time, all of BMW's latest designs are very much making sense to me. This is the car that started the revolution, but looking back on now defunct/oldtimer generations it can easily be seen that BMW has never been an imitator nor a follower, and this new generation will be viewed much the same in the future when looked back upon. I'm very proud of BMW, so much so that I'm looking to buy some sort of flag or poster to stick above where a poster of the Camaro conecept currently resides. :cool:

i REALLY would not be suprised if that was an F01/F02 mule. No reason a 7er of anykind would be towing, unless it was a test mule as this is common practice in testing.

If you look closely at the rear wheel, it does not really look like it fits that well, maybe it is a mule Deutsch?

actually they are really old. I had used all of them as wallpapers last year. THanks anyway!

Shes a beautiful car but I have finally noticed that she is starting too look her age.... Can't wait for new F01/02 Seven Series !!!!!!!

I agree. Haven't sat in a 7er for some time but I think a few details are starting to look/feel dated.
