5 Series BMW 5-Series Touring gets a Makeover and a Power Boost from Kelleners Sport

The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972. The car is sold as either a sedan or, since 1991, a station wagon (marketed as "Touring"). A 5-door fastback (marketed as "Gran Turismo") was sold between 2009 and 2017. Each successive generation has been given an internal G-code designation since 2017. Previously, a F-code designation was used between 2010 and 2016, while an E-code designation was used between 1972 and 2010. These are used to distinguish each model and generation from each other.

Just because you opted for a station wagon body style doesn't mean you have to deprive yourself from all the tuning goods available from the aftermarket industry.
Making its debut this week is a new and comprehensive range of accessories for the latest BMW 5 Series Touring (F11) from Germany's Kelleners Sport.
The tuner offers a wide range of performance kits for both petrol and diesel engines providing a performance increase of around 20 percent.
As an example, Kelleners Sport tells us that for the 535d diesel, the power kit lifts output from 309hp (313PS) and 630Nm (465 lb-ft) to 371hp (376PS) and 756Nm (558 lb-ft). On the 550i turbocharged V8 petrol, performance is boosted from 401hp (407PS) and 600Nm (442 lb-ft) to 483hp (490PS) and 720Nm (531 lb-ft).
Completing the performance upgrades is a set of sport springs that lower the vehicle's ride by 30 mm, a sports exhaust system and a choice of alloy wheel designs in sizes 19- and 20-inches.
Kelleners Sport offers styling parts for both the standard and M Sport models. The list includes a front spoiler lip, side skirts, a rear diffuser, exhaust tips, grille and air vent inserts and more.
As for the interior, available parts for the 5-Series Touring include pedal sets and footrests crafted from polished aluminium and bespoke leather upholsteries with contrasting seams and stitched seat cushions.
