This Colour always come out stunning! What colour is it?

Re: BMW E90 3er Sedan Picture Thread

If i'm not mistaken, that's LeMans Blue - and may i add that it's the best color for any beemer, imo. Especially if we're talking about M car...

Oh how i wish BMW to offer that color for X5...:eusa_pray

:t-cheers:

Re: BMW E90 3er Sedan Picture Thread

Le Mans Blue sounds right to me, kind of a richer Estroil Blue.

I dunno but I doubt it....Isnt LeMans blue a colour exclusively for ///M's? like the E39 M5 and X5 4.8iS are the only 2 cars I can remem seeing them on besides I think LM blue is slightly darker..however I speak under correction:t-hands:

I could be wrong, but this is official LeMans Blue:

:t-hands:

It does seem darker as you've said, but it ain't for sure Monaco or Montego Blue... And i don't know if Estorill Blue exists for E90/92...

:t-cheers:

Re: BMW E90 3er Sedan Picture Thread

Wow tycoon. Those pictures bring back some agonizing memories from the days when there were like three E92 threads rocking a 90 pages each thanks to BMW slow playing us with the E92 launch. :D

Re: BMW E90 3er Sedan Picture Thread

I could be wrong, but this is official LeMans Blue:

Estroil Blue at this point would be a special order only color. Montego Blue is a bit too bright to be the color in question. I'm sticking with Le Mans, could be wrong?

I dont know which pictures you guys talk about but you can't combine Montegoblue with M-package.

I agree, fun times!:usa7uh:

It's weird looking at them now, because it's kinda obvious where everything is and the shape of the lights!

Re: BMW E90 3er Sedan Picture Thread

Montego blue in person actually looks a lot like Estroil blue from the E36 and E46. Le Mans blue is slightly darker I believe, while Monaco blue is closer to a navy blue.

As far as Le Mans blue goes, it is only available in the M sport equipped cars in Europe, so it is not available in North America unless you go through the BMW Individual program for special colours (I believe it's a $5k USD option in US). Unfortunately, the M sport package is still not available in North America.
